- White nonwovens are hydrophobic → float and absorb all mineral hydrocarbons (MHK)
- Yellow nonwovens are hydrophilic → absorb all liquids and are universally applicable
- Gray nonwovens are hydrophilic → absorb all liquids and are universally applicable
